Hi everybody!
After going to Italy to visit Serena, Rosie the hand puppet returned to Amsterdam to continue her adventures. Here's the next installment of her travels:

When I arrived back in Amsterdam, Chris and his friend David decided to drive to France in order to take the ferry to Dover, Great Britain, where they met a fellow clock collector. The ferry was fun because we got to drive on and park the car then go to a very nice lounge for the English Channel crossing. When we arrived in Dover, we visited the person whose house is the closest to France. Pretty cool, huh?

After that, we drove to Brackley, a town northwest of London, to visit a childhood friend of David's. We spent a couple days there before Melanie met us to start a vacation in Scotland. David stayed with his friend and I got to ride with Melanie and Chris to Edinburgh!

The drive to Edinburgh was very pretty. Everything was very green and looked just like pictures of Scotland! And, boy, there are lots of sheep everywhere! We met a colleague of Melanie's at his house where we had stew and Scottish shortbread for dinner. He and his wife then took us for an evening tour of Edinburgh.  After that it was time for me to be returned to my Girl Scout, Kendal. So, unfortunately, I didn't get to experience the rest of Melanie and Chris' Scottish adventure, but I'm sure they'll tell you about that soon!

Happy travels!
Rosie
