I've gotten more comments regarding the gecko (and my fear of it) that I mentioned a couple of weeks ago than anything else I've posted so far, so I feel the need to give a quick update, even though I've already posted once today.  After receiving the advice from many of you just to stop being such a wuss and live at peace with the gecko, I had decided to give him another shot.  Unfortunately, as far as I know he has never set so much as a toe into my room since that night.  Apparently you all were right, he truly was more afraid of me than I of him.  You'll be happy to know, however, that today I discovered a new gecko in the bathroom and have made up my mind to allow it to take up residence there.  I briefly considered trying to catch it and bring it to my own room as a pet, but I don't think I've reached quite that level of bravery yet.  And, I must admit that it's probably the tiniest four-legged creature I've seen in my entire life and capturing it and carrying it somewhere else could very easily scare it to death.  It's name is Sami, in honor of Samantha Jean, and if I were to actually catch it, it could sit comfortably on my pinky finger with room to spare, though its tail would hang off.  I realize this picture isn't clear at all, but this time I actually did get really close to it.  It's just so small that this is as good as it gets.
