I'm sat down in departures waiting for my flight to Nairobi , slightly worried about the political situation and what I may face when I land in Kenya , I've been assured that the situation is not as bad as the press is making out. It's quite exciting really, a bit of excitement doesn't do you any harm, could be an interesting trip, I fill a bit like Kate Adie!

Overall I've had quite a productive day, been to the Indian embassy and got my Visa, took nearly 5 hours, but it saves me a trip down to Birmingham when I get back from Africa.
