Where I stayed
A lovely warm sunny day and decided to go to Grouse Mountain as it was highly recommended. Bought a day bus pass about $7 and went by bus to the bay then caught the Sea Bus across, then another bus to Grouse Mountain, Vancouver's highest mountain. Paid about $35 and took the Skyride up the mountain.
Arrived in time to view the Birds in Motion show then moved onto the Lumberjack Show afterwards we were able to view the Grizzly Bears they have in captivity behind electric fences. They have 5 acres to roam in and both bears are male and were orphaned as cubs, the Canadian government wouldn't allow their release back into the wild so they are permanent residents of Grouse Mountain.
In Winter they ski on Grouse Mountain and we thoroughly enjoyed this day but it was hot, but seeing the Grizzlys' was just so wonderful. This pretty well completed this day.
