That's us. Our group name. We all work so well together. Today, we managed to wake up at a good time and get out the door to do some sightseeing-- although we were all desperate to get more sleep. Instead of being lazy, we got dressed, grabbed bagels for breakfast, and headed out to take Prague by storm.

We essentially just walked all day and saw so much. First, we went inside St. Giles Church and looked around before heading out and hitting the touristy areas. On our way there, however, we stopped by one of the theaters and looked around the weekly market that occurs there. It was a farmer's market, basically, but instead of selling local veggies and homemade pies, the vendors here were young designers trying to get their brands and names out to the public. It was really fascinating to see all these younger people who make, design, and sell their own clothing and jewelry. When we were finished there, we headed over to the touristy areas and perused the souvenir shops and vendors selling Bohemian crystal. We stopped by the same square we were at last night and saw the old Town Hall as well as the fabulously pretty Astronomical Clock. We then continued to check out the city, just walking through the streets. All through this time, I had a vague notion of where we were compared to the hostel and river, so that was good. I felt like my sense of direction wasn't too shaken up by the new landscape.

After making our way through the tiny streets, we were soon at a big street with many shopping areas, cafes and bars, and we spent time here enjoying the city's sights and (for the others) buying a few clothing items. We passed by the capital building on our way to and from lunch as well, which is beautiful. We even went out of our way to find the opera house. Although it is rather small, it's quite pretty and cute; I wish we had the time (and money) to see a show here. I believe Don Giovanni is playing later on this month.

Now, after a very long and winding walk, we are back at the dorm. It's nap time before we shower, change, and go out for the evening. Until then!

(Later:)

What a great night! We took full advantage of how busy the city is at night. We went to the biggest club in central Europe-- five stories tall-- which has this amazing room called the ice bar.

It's essentially a room made entirely of ice with ice sculptures. We paid to go inside, have a drink (out of a cup made of ice), wear a parka, pose with the ice sculptures, and own the world from an ice throne. Seriously the best part of the night.

We went to a few other places before coming home and falling instantly on my bed. It was a long day.
