Overall a fun city.  We held our seminar at the Latvian military outpost about 20-45 min drive from the hotel depending on the traffic.  Old Riga provided a great place to watch the Champions League Championship between Spain and Man U.  There were a surprising amount of English in the area watching the game and at the bar where we saw it.  Checked out Kiwi bar for the event and we were not dissatisfied with the food and service.  Indian Cuisine seemed to be popular, too.
We also happened to be in town during the same time as the Go Blonde Parade and festivities which proved to be pretty entertaining.
