Where I stayed
The national museum has all of the Ankor era statues and was a great sight to see. We also visited the silver pagoda in the royal palace which is a pagoda or place of worship with silver tiles all over the floor. Most of them were covered, though. Both sites were within a short ride of each other and easily do-able in a half day.
I'm amazed at how much the Cambodians are able to stack on each of these little motorbikes. Whole families dangerously travel on them sometimes four at a time with infants. The poverty of some Cambodians is saddening and it can only be through political reform and fair elections that they will truly be free.
