So yeah, Japan kicked my butt today. While I was waiting to meet with my CS host, I went walking around trying to find an internet station. The nice lady in the train station said it was a 5 minute walk.

An hour and a half later my back was hating me for lugging around my 18kg or so backpack, plus my day pack on the front. I finally made it, lost as can be, to the train station after an hour and a half of walking (total). I sat down, defeated, and ate some sugary cereal and drank some water as I waited a bit.

Anyways, we met up, and now I'm at her apartment, grateful as always to have a place to stay, especially in an expensive place like Japan. We're going out to eat a bit and with her friends, and then I'll pass out real good tonight. Tomorrow morning I'll leave my backpack at a train station and tour around Osaka.

Then, in the late afternoon, I'll take the JR train to Kyoto, where I'll meet up with my CS host there.

Here I am in Japan... less than 2 weeks away from home too. ^_^

Not that I'm counting or anything. :p

Qué bueno que ya estás acercándote a la fecha de regreso, aquí te estamos esperando con los brazos bien abiertos. De todas maneras por ahora me da gusto que llegaste a Japón porque es un país bien interesante y estoy seguraque lo pasarás bien a pesar de que ya debes estar cansado con tantas cosas que te pasaron, con la espera en el aeropuerto, etc. Quizá puedes ir al teatro, alguna ópera como Mikado de repente...!!
Ya nos contarás y veremos tus fotos.
