Today was a nice day.  I went with Kim (my super CS host from a couple days ago) and Chen Jia and her 2 friends from Hong Kong to old town Cebu, near the harbor.

We saw Magellan's cross, which he planted a looong time ago, as well as the Iglesia del Ninio (no enie here), the Cebu Cathedral, as well as an old fort.  All really good stuff, and I got some nice pictures (finally! ;)  ).  So I should be able to put some of those up sometime soon.  I just escaped to an internet cafe real quick to write and check my email while they finish eating here, at the food court :p

We also rode on some jeepneys which are really cool.  They remind me a lot of "combis" (types of mini vans) from back home in Peru.  Actually, most of the Philippines in general reminds me a lot of back home.  The Spanish influence is very evident ,as it is in Peru.  Just random different aspects about Philippines which are really similar.

Anywho, off I go!
