So yeah, been in Prague a few days now, and it's been alright.  It was about 4C yesterday, and about 1C today (right around 32F), and it "feels like -4C" according to weather.com  I can certainly say that I can see the first snowfall of the season out my windows, so that's a nice sight to see from the warm comfort inside my class building.

So a quick note about some of my classmates. The great majority come from the United States.  Others include an Irish woman, an English man, and a Scotsman (I think that's how you write it?).  All of the rest are American (except one Peruvian American;)  ). Of course, as in every class, there's the special student.  In this case it's a 40 or 50 something year old American woman who always has something to say or to disagree with.  You learn to ignore her, but I do feel sorry for the others and especially the instructors at times.

Also, I finally got my Monthly Transportation Card (580 Czech Krown, or about 35 USD), which I can use for any of the Metro lines, Trams, or Buses.  It's a relief to finally have it, since I was kind of illegally riding the trams before..  But don't tell anyone.  The fine I guess is about 800 CZK, so I figure it's well worth it for the peace of mind and what not.

What else.. oh, a quick note on German trains.  Although I always bought a train ticket while I was there, it wasn't until my long Berlin - Prague train that they checked my ticket.

Anyways today I teach my first observed lesson which is a bit nerve-racking;  I don't mind teaching, since I've done it quite a bit before, but it's always a bit uncomfortable to have people watching you as you do it and analyzing your every move.  But I figure it can't be much easier for my other classmates.

Alrighty then, I'm off to do my oh-so-fun lesson plan for my advanced reading class, which I will teach this afternoon at 13:30, after my lunch break.

Till' next time!

buena suerte en tus clases ...
Querido Chris,
