It's exactly 4 weeks until my flight. Thai Airways- direct flight. Nice and fast! Just 10 hours and I'll be there already :)
I can't wait. Most preparations have been done already: Well I got a valid passport, credit card and a flight ticket- that's all I need. For 3 weeks I don't even need a visa since I get 30 days on arrival.
Yet the next month will be tough at work since my boss will be on vacation. So I'll probably need a few nights in Bangkok to recover from that before moving on further up north.
I booked a hotel for 3 nights, it seems pretty good deal, let's see...
It will be the first time for me not to stay in Banglamphu, Khao San road area. Well Sukhumvit is very different from it: it is a business area and probably more westernized. But that's ok, I just need a place to sleep and recover. Anyway thanks to the BTS skytrain it is easy to get away from there.
Right now I'm sitting in my appartment looking at the grey and desolate sky and wish I was there already.
I can't wait!
