I finally arrived to my residence for the next few days. Once we landed at Muscat Airport it was a very discombobulated few hours waiting for Passport Visas, and getting a ride to the hotel. I was the only one on my bus going to Haffa House, Everyone else was heading on to the Al Bandar which sounds delightful, but at $358.00 it is a little more delightful than my wallet. >.>
I made it up to my room, and just CRASHED at around 3 pm which would be why I am now writing @ 1 am in the morning. Not to worry though, I'm sure I'll manage another couple hours before dawn. The hotel seems nice enough, what little I've seen of it. The bed is comfy I can say that for sure.
Met a very nice gentalman from Bolivia here with his young daughter, (he entertained me with tales of his trip (Bolivia, Brazil, London[missed flight], Dubai, Oman) I think he's got me beat on the milage factor. A man from Bahrain who happens to be staying here at Haffa House was also on my flight, although he must have taken a different bus as he was here before me. were commiserating on how astoundingly expensive the hotels here are.

Now it's 2:46 and I've given up hope of falling back to sleep, so, after a shower, I ventured down to the lobby, where I have discovered...
THE INTERWEBZ!!!!!11!!!
but :-| they're having internet issues it seems... so, for now I'll just keep logging in Word Pad.
