Had our first real travel day...ending point near St. Paul, MN. It was about a 10 hour drive from MI (almost 12 hours with stops along the way for gas, food, doggy breaks).
Saw LOTS of signs for cheese. One place said they carried over 150 kinds....that's way too much cheese for me. There were more corn (and some cranberry) farms than cows. That was surprising...and disappointing for a cow lover like me ;o)
If we were into gambling, we'd have plenty of places to go...considering every state seems to have at least one casino that we pass by. They've already gotten plenty of money from us in tolls, so we don't need to play the slots!
Winston slept most of the trip today. He wouldn't drink, but happily scarfed down a few treats. He had his first elevator ride tonight...and was a little confused as the door shut. Other than that, he's settling down. He was VERY hungry for dinner and has already found his way onto the bed. He has to test it you know, since Pugs are the dogs of royalty...and must approve the accommodations.
The internet connection here is a bit slow, but I'll try to upload a few pics.
Tomorrow we enter Canada!
States seen today...Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota

First leg of trip
OK, I finally figured out how to view all. That picture of the dog in the car is a hoot! Priceless!
