Left Begles at 14.12 for Castets. Difficult to get off at first, so reved up the engines to match river speed of 3 knots. Then took ropes off one at a time, thet shot offf like a cork out of a bottle. Once under way the current wasn't a problem.3kn through the water and 7.over ground. Arrived Castets waiting pontoon 20.26, just as the tide turned. Lovely trip.
