Left 9.30. Punched into a big swell for an hour then turned south and sailed for 8 hours. Sea rough at first but settled as the day went on. Entry to the Gironde wad rough, 6ft swell behind. Eased as we got further round the lighthouse. Tide was strong. Arrived Port Medoc 20.00.
Place like ghost town. Very quiet indeed.
