Left Fowey at 4 am Friday Morning. No Wind to start so motored for 5 hours. Came into a fog bank for 2 hours. Had a near miss with a floating office block which did not seem to have a fog horn.
2 -3 metre swell from the west. Wind came with the fog, easterly force 3-4 so we made very good time. Too good in fact, 5 hours too early to get thru the Chanel du Four.
Few minor mishaps so we just stood off until dawn. Got to the Chanel and headed for Camaret sur Mer. Seemed a L O N G way after a fairly sleepless night. Entered marina at approx 11am Saturday.
Went shopping and Dave slept for 13 hours!
