We land in Los Cabos and immediately do our best to out smart the time-share sharks.  We ducked and dodged until we finally exited the airport.  We had heard that there was a transportation strike going on, but expected it to possibly hamper our return transfer.  We quickly realized that we were wrong.  Not wanting to be taken advantage of, after successfully escaping the gauntlet of time-share sharks; we were not going to just believe that Expedia would refund our pre-paid transfers upon our return to the states.  So after much bickering and many phone calls to various levels of management to the transportation company, we were sure that the only way we would be getting to our hotel would be to find our own ride locally and cross our fingers that Expedia wouldn't give us the shaft.  We loaded up and headed out, each with a kid in the lap.  The drive from the airport in San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas started slow, but we soon hit the highway.  Soon the mega-resorts of the tourist corridor came into view.  Let me tell you, even from the road, they were quite impressive.  Also mixed in were some of the best manicured golf courses I have ever seen.  The more I think about those golf courses though, I wonder if they looked so good because they were the only thing green I saw the whole trip.  This place is definately a desert oasis.  We arrived at our hotel, and quickly got settled in and checked out the pool.
