Hi,

This place is so cold, pilot said on arrival it was going to be 32 degrees, I was thinking that doesn't sound too bad. Upon checking my diary which has the conversion. I realised that equaled zero degrees Celsius. Cold!!! Mum thank you so much for making sure I packed my gloves, I needed them strait away. Did I repeat its soo cold.

I also had Willem Dafoe on my plane, it's strange here becasue you can use mobiles until the plane starts taxiing. He was a few seats in front of me and I could here him giving interviews while we were waiting for the plane to be ready. We also took off 45 minutes late because of a Radar problem, yet we still arrived 5 minutes early, it was very strange.

I am staying at the Big Apple Hostel, thanks to Ryan's recommendation

First Night in Times Square..COLD

. Mate you were right. I am about 60 meters from times square and 40 meters from the Swatch Times Square store. Katie you should transfer to this store, its totally cool, and Huge. Its was surprising because I just went out for a walk, and I was still trying to get my gloves and Beanie on, when I looked up, I actually said "Whooo". I couldn't believe where I was standing. This place is cool. Its 12:30 and still buzzing.

I will be able to post some photos in the next few days, as the computers here have USB ports. I was lucky enough to get free Internet from a guy who had finished and had time remaining, which was nice.
