Final day in Orlando\Disney today, and we went out in style.

The only Disney park we had not visited so far was EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow, Yep that's what it stands for). EPCOT is the largest of the Disney parks, twice the size of the Magic Kingdom. It's really two parks rolled into one, with one half being Tomorrow Land and the other half the World Showcase. With so much to see we knew we had to hit this park early so we got there pre rope drop. We had highlighted the parks top three rides as "Mission: SPACE" (NASA style launch simulator), Test Track and Soarin' (Hang gliding over California ride). We had the big three complete by 11am which gave us the rest of the day to explore the park at a leisurely  pace.

When i say we completed the big three, i should mention that unfortunately "Mission: SPACE" was a step too far for Leslie, and she bottled out last minute before getting on the ride. She did not miss out as we had pretty much done this ride already at Kennedy Space Center. This version of the ride was definitely in a much smaller space and came complete with sick bags. The crew member made Les laugh as he told her about all the people that bang on the doors screaming let me out once the ride starts.

Unexpected highlights of the day were Turtle Talk with Crush (Interactive Q and A session with an animated turtle from Finding Nemo which was very funny) and Living with the Land (Boat ride through the EPCOT greenhouses, now i know I'm getting old).

Spent the afternoon wandering around the lake and through each of the countries of the World Showcase. Having not had a beer in a week i thought i would treat myself to one in Germany, but it was probably the worst beer i have ever had. The second beer (A pint of Stella no less) i had in England made up for it. Managed to snag a picture with Donald Duck in Mexico and Pooh and Tigger in England. I'm concerned that I'm  getting way too excited around people dressed up as animals.

Completely knackered we left at 4pm, that's a whole 7 hours and 8 miles completed today.

We drove the two hours to Crystal River, checked into our hotel and grabbed a pizza at Rocco's.

Early start tomorrow. We are going to be Manatee tickling.
