Where I stayed
Jeff and Carolyn's House
An easy days drive from Sudbury, we arrived at Big Rideau Lake to find Carolyn and Jeff's fairytale home.
Set amongst huge trees and with an expansive lawn running down to the lake their lovely home was ours for a few days.
We arrived in the afternoon and were pleased to see we were just in time for happy hour!
During our stay, we enjoyed some awesome wine and food, the great company of our already good friends(Jeff and Carolyn had visited us twice in NZ)
Chris and Cass managed to go and see an excellent local production of "Les Miserables", and both enjoyed it greatly.
We also had the pleasure of spending time with their granddaughters Genevieve (aged 3) and Zoe (aged 1) who were visitng for a few days.
However, all good things must come to an end and we headed off for our next destination, Niagara Falls. On the way, we visited Rainie and Ron. Rainie is Carolyn's sister and Rainie and Ron also stayed with us when they were in New Zealand so it was great to catch up with them, albeit briefly.

Gorgeous!
Wow, love this spot, what a great set up with the boat. Hope that was the bait on Sam's fishing line! Favourite photo for me number 7 I think, fishing.
