We arrived safely in Singapore after an ok flight. We left Brisbane at quarter to three in the morning and got served a meal straight away - not sure what the meal was for. Chris got a large roast chicken, sundried tomato and rocket roll with a blueberry muffin, while the lactose free option was 1 slice of lemon, 2 slithers of orange, two small strawberries and a piece of watermelon with a carton of peaches - they didn't seem to compare meal wise!
Well we're off again, leaving Singapore at 3am (we fly at such silly times) then a 7 hour stop over in Kunming before flying to Lijiang in south west China.
We've had a lovely two days in Singapore, but after four and a bit years working at a desk my poor feet are exhausted!
Our accommodation is in a wonderful location, which makes up for the purple walls and shared bathrooms, right across from Bugis Junction.
I think we've managed to do everything, Raffles, the Merlion, Clarke Quay, Suntec City, Sim Lim Square and Orchard road. Plus we've managed to fit in a lot of eating. Bread Talk now do donuts which Chris has fallen in love with.
Changi was lovely as usual, managed to get a chicken rice, foot massage and fit in a nap.

Loving your news! You certainly look relaxed. Love the spring foliage and flowers in Lijiang - it all looks beautiful.
Lots of love, Mum xx
