Today I headed back down to Spain to join Lizzie for La Tomatina and some other good times. For the most part the first half of my day consisted of packing, finishing laundry, and writing mass amounts of emails to people before I left. Then I freaked out because I thought I was running late to the airport because I improperly gauged the time to get to Stansted. I ended up getting there really early and enjoying a nice raspberry and white choc muffin with a mango/kiwi/banana smoothie before checking in. I happened to wander into a security line that was opening just as I passed it, so I had no wait to get through security. Did a bit of window shopping through the shops there and then went to my gate where I somehow was one of the first people on the plane so I took the seats with the legroom over the wings. I took the gamble that we weren't going to crash. We ended up queing on the runway for half an hour and I thought we'd be massively late but somehow the plane went warp speed to
Valencia and we landed 5 minutes early. Coming into the city I was rubbber necking the entire time because we were going so fast, it was awesome. Afterwards I took a taxi to the hotel where I met up with Lizzie! We both were pretty tired from travels so we just hung out in the hotel room until we crashed for La Tomatina tomorrow!
