Oh man! Today was quite the day. First, I woke up early and went into Simon's work with him. That was really cool. He films a sports show for a televesion company in Australia. I got to sit in on the filming of it, and afterwards take a picture in the anchor chair. That was pretty cool. The studio is right next to the Reichstag. After the filming we headed off back to his flat to have a shower and refresh. Then we went back to the studio at 5 so that I could be on the Drew Carey Show. He filmed an internet travel blog for discovery channel (it's on their website, it might be the travel channel now that I think about it, I forget). Anyways, just look on their website for Drew Carey's World Cup travel blogs, and then Im on the last one (from the final in Berlin). You also get a nice shot of how the beard is forming... Anyways so after we wrapped that I took a shot with Drew, then we went across the street into an area that had been set up to watch the match from. People were playing soccer in there, and they were giving stuff away... it was pretty cool. So we hung out in there for a little, then made our way into the Tiergarten (near the rediculously over crowded fan mile) to watch the match at a beer garden that was also rediculously crowded. It was great to watch it on a big screen, and all the Italian fans (including Simon) went wild after the victory. Some great pictures ensued. Afterwards we went home and passed out because it was quite the exhausting day. All in all it was good fun.... Tomorrow is more Berlin and Paris at night!
