Today was a great day... I woke up nice and late (it was awesome to sleep in) to luis calling to tell me that he couldnt make it in today, so Francisco would be taking me to Arcos (my father's golf course). After the call I went to the bar across the street and had some cafe con leche and tostada (latte and toast), which was excellent but the power went out in the bar twice which was funny. I think the bartender got a ticket on his car as well... uhoh. So afterwards I grabbed a quick shower, then went met up with Francisco who drove me to Arcos. He's a very nice guy. So once I got to Arcos I hit some balls on the practice range and then drove around the course taking pictures, which was good fun. I wish I had something to eat as I had forgotten that they had hired a great new chef, but perhaps tomorrow. I came back to the clubhouse and hotel and met Ricardo, who was very nice. We began talking about things in Spain and then about surfing (which we both like alot) and it ended up that he took me to a beach. It was very nice and relaxing, though these little kids kept kicking there soccer ball onto us, I think it was on purpose. Afterwards I came home and cooked up some pasta and meatballs, and ate on the patio while the sunset. I watched part of Shawshank Redemption (which I hadn't seen, and thought was quite good) and then called Ricardo to go out that night. He took me back into Puerto Santa Maria (where the beach was) and we went to a couple spots. First was his normal hangout, the name escapes me. Then we went to the coolest night club I have ever been to in my life. It's called Mucho Teatro and they took an old theater and converted it to a night club. It's three levels, and while the seats have been ripped out to make a dance floor the stage is still there for performances, like go go dancers. It was crazy, Ricardo used to be a public relations person for them so he knew everybody, it was great. Then he took me to La Pontana, which was basically a floating bar on the water. It was cool, and again he knew the bartender (his ex) and we had a good time there. Now I am home, telling you all about this. Then bed, and tomorrow... Not sure quite yet... either Sevilla, Morocco and Tarifa (to surf), or Arcos... probably some combination of those...
