Made it to Lakeland and Joe Marchant Stadium. A beautiful day for a Tiger's baseball game! We had a blast!! Saw a great game, the Tiger's won 7-6 in 10 innings. I took over 500 pictures that day:) At the end of the game had one of my baseballs signed by one of the pitchers. At the moment, I can't remember his name. LOL! Ran into friends of mine from home, brothers, Doug and Hal Morningstar (one of my dearest friend's Ruth is Doug's wife). Hal collects Tiger autographs and told us all the ins and outs of a good autograph. Use pen not sharpie pens, I had sharpie pens! Hal loaned me his pen. Thanks, Hal!! After the game Doug and Hal were about 10th in line to get Fielder autographs. We got in line with them. ESPN was taping Prince and wanted a video of me walking up to Fielder with my Fielder jersey on. Prince Fielder is a wonderful young man. He signed my jersey, and a baseball. Had my picture taken with him. Actually, Penny didn't realize that she was videoing the entire time. I'll edit it and post it later on FB. Ruth called me later and told us to get the pictures to her and Hal will try and get the pictures signed by Fielder. Hal and Doug go to the games all the time. If you are ever down in Lakeland during spring training you need to go to a game. Had so much fun!!
