You always meet the nicest people at the races. Yes, it was a very early morning, but if you wait until later in the day it gets way too hot. It was a great walk, but smaller than the last time I came down. Wonder if it was because of the fall out from Planned Parenthood and Komen. Just a thought. I collect breast cancer pins and the woman that started the very first walk in Estero came up to me and asked if I had certain pins from their race. I didn't and she gave me two pins that I did not have:) Also, Ford's has a couple of new pins. @Linda Dicks, I was able to score you a couple of new pins. Then, the race itself had two pins that I received for finishing the walk and coming to the survivor ceremony. So, I added 6 new pins to my vest that already weighs 11 pounds. I didn't wear the vest this time. It's getting to heavy. LOL! Great walk, great weather and great friends! Now, on to Key West!!
