Hey there :)

the day before yesterday we made a little BBQ on our rooftop. There were saucages, salad, bread, tzatziki and 1kg of meat (!). We thought it to be 4 sliced pieces, but in fact it was one great big chunk of meat ^^ It was very tasty, but too much for us, so we saved us the rest for the next day. The mentioned next day Fabi and me heard about the international Fitness week and that there would be free entrance in Fitness First for this week. So we took the chance, went there and destroyed our muscles ;D The saved meat was good after that training. We can use that gym until sunday and so we will after one day of regeneration.  I learned a bit japanese from Yuta also being here in Eva's. He told me much about Japan and the living there, and that he is travelling further 6 years to Germany UK and Canada to become a japanes teacher in Germany. "Konishiwa, watashiwa Chris das" -> "Hallo ich heiße Chris" und "supega zuki" -> "Ich mag Suppe" :D

Today i Max and Rebecca took the free tour in sydney with a guide fetching us from the hostel. In fact he knew very much about the city and its devvelopment, which we learned from him in a funny way. Aboriginals think Australia was created by some rainbow worm, snake-like god, who came from the earth and made Australia. English entered Australia and made claims of it, but had no interest in it until UK ran out of space for convicts and made harsh rules for criminals. Either head off, or a journey to Australia into damnation as a punishment. Convicts zivilised Australia and built the infrastructure. Even a convict was the architect of most of the buildings, who is now known as a great man with statues set all over Sydney. Funny to know is, that the place where Australia was founded, obviously thought of and expected as an great place with a great monument, is a small pillar standing beside the street in front of a bus station. The bus actually arrived there while Greg the guide spoke about it ^^ Sydney just exists for 200 years, so "old" buildings are not as old when you would say "old" in Germany. We went through a narrow street where many many bird cages were hung up between the buildins. i didn't listen, so i can't repeat the story about it :P but what i really really listened to is when Greg said, that this place on the photo...is where "The Matrix" was filmed! An in fact i recognized the place, where Neo walks with Morpheus in an education program while the famous soundtrack from Moby is playing. Neo walks through the annoying crowd and is suddenly distracted by the "lady in red". He stops in front of the fountain and when he turns again to see Morpheus, an agent is holding a pistol pointed to his head. The scene is then frozen by Morpheus right in front of this one waterfall i saw today! :D Amazing :)

We made a break in Hyde Park. They called it, uninventionally like the English are, Hyde Park after the same named Hyde Park in London. The same with Kings Cross in London and here >_< *doh* but it's a nice place still that Hyde Park :) little girls playing with the bubbles of the streetartist near the fountain, we laying on green grass in the shade and me lying in the sun with a Magnum ice-cream ^-^ *happy sigh* Here are some jokes Greg made about New Zealanders, because Australians *hate* NewZealanders :P He told us that blue sky is australian and all the clouds are from New Zealand ^^ AND in Sydney it never rains (though it rained yesterday). It just rains in other cities from Australia and flows to Sydney, that's why there is wet ground sometimes. In New Zealand there are just 4 million people, but 40 million sheep. Under that few 4 million are only few women. New Zealanders love their sheep... When an Australian asks a NewZealander how much girlfriends he had had, he counts 1...2...3...and then falls asleep xD In the break, he told us, that the guy, naked on the fountain with a sheep and a goat is from New Zealand and ... when you see a NewZealander with a sheep and a goat, you know he's bisexual xD

yeah there are amazing trees in Sydney. For me at least. And there will be played free in the harbour to hear the opera "La Traviata" tomorrow! I will definitely join in by saving me a good free place to see and hear behind the scenes at the grass with some nice stuff to get the evening over with :)

Hah! Hello Michael! Was really a pleasure to enjoy the opera with you! Is my
blog so easy to find? I only told you that i have a blog and that my name was
Chris. Hah funny :> it was really cool to have a professional nearby explaining
all the story to me when i couldn't keep up with. My friends here didn't believe
me that i met the son of the senior building site manager of THE Sydney
opera house. No matter what they say, it was a funny and interesting evening.
Thank you for your company and i think i will take your german friends advice
and go directly to the companies asking for work. Have a nice day!
