So all the major portions of the trip are done by this point. We only went to Surin because for time and monetary purposes we couldn’t make it to the Bolaven Plateau in Laos. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good time. Sure it wasn’t anything spectacular, but not everything is gonna be blockbuster.
Now what did we do...
Saw some small weaving village outside the city limits. Didn’t learn much, but i was able to buy a bunch of little woven purses with elephant designs on them. Perfect gifts for the unsuspecting females in my life. Bam!
When in town we saw an elephant wandering the streets, much to the delight of linds, who had wanted to ride one so bad in Laos. They have crazy rough skin and yah...
We also went bowling.
I lost.
