We took a "Super VIP" bus back to Kuala Lumpar for R9.40, the same price that we went there for but on crappier bus. The "Super VIP" had reclining lazy boy chairs including feet rests, and curtains to draw the sun away! I used the 2hour journey wisely and slept for most of it! Approaching Kuala Lumper we tried searching for another accomodation rather than the one that we stayed at recently, we wernt too fond of one of the staff members.. she was jus RUDE! But searching numerous places for the prices we needed in the Midday heat and with our humungous backpack we only went back to Backpackers Lodge and checked into the tiniest room ever!
Our jam packed agenda for Kuala Lumper started as soon as we arrived.. no time to rest, we went to visit my favourite.. Nandos again! Mmmm, then headed straight over to KL Tower, boy, was it a mission getting there.. finally reaching at the foot of the tower we paid R20 to go to the top, they handed out electronic guides telling you about K.L and had binoculars (cant spell) at every other window.. Anna and I tried our best to spot something that was outta the ordinary, looking into the hotel windows! (hehe.. naughty huh?!) but nothing! After spending about an hour up there and circling about 5 times we left and headed for Hard Rock Cafe for dinner.. Man, thank goodness i wernt hungry, the prices were crazy, Anna ordered some chicken dish and i ordered a cup of tea! We spent 4 hours in there, we couldnt bring ourselves to leave, the DJ was playing good music and can i mention new tunes (I am so unbelievably outdated with music!) and a live band was playing, which the band happen to come from Philippines! It also turnt out that the DJ (Troy) was 1/2 filipino too, Bless him.. he looked after Anna and I for the rest of the night, even got us free juice! haha. The night was still young, Troy was heading over to Planet Hollywood to see his friends, so we decided to visit there before we left for home. Planet Hollywood was way more packed, far more drunks and jus crazy! Troy being the excellent host he was fed us Jack & Coke.. Mmm
Today we woke up around 12ish, we went to visit the K.L Lake Gardens, such a beautiful park, that has a playground for children like me to play in, a lake - where u can go pedal boating in, butterfly farm, bird sanctuary, orhid flower farm and many more. Of course i had a few moments to myself playing in the playground while Anna watched! Then went pedal boating around the lake, the sun was blazing and boy was i getting tired! After 45 mins of cardio exercise we headed straight to the nearest bench which so happened to be a swinging bench, decor around was so pretty had white stones around the bench shaped in a heart! After many minutes of well deserved resting we headed for the shop were i bought a well deserved Crunch ice-cream! hehe! We finally caught a shuttle bus touring around the park were we saw monkeys roaming around grounds! Couldnt believe it! They're such beautiful creatures!
UPDATED 13/08/2006, 01:02amMann.. I had so many things i needed to mention that happened in the past few days and it being 1:03 in the morning i have completely forgot! Except that the great Troy (thanks dear) has burnt a CD of the latest music for Anna and I. Funny story that.. Neither Anna or I have a CD player! Anyways, i'm here online now.. purely cos im killing time.. our flight to Clark Airport, Philippines is at 7.15am and check in is 3 BLOODY HOURS before.. setting us back to 3am where we have to leave our hostel to catch a bus! Then only to get on a 4 hour bus ride from Clark to Makati! Grr Anyways.. im not moaning.. after all.. "Its all part of the experience" hehe.
Ooh.. special shout out to JOYCE FRANCISCO Happy birthday luvv! Hope u hav a wicked day!! Well i should hope so from what i hear of the plans! uh huhh!!
Anyways.. thought i wouldve wrote like a whole essay by now.. but oh well.. ive run outta time, but i've managed to update all my photos as some of you will be glad to see!
