As we arrived so early our room wasn't ready yet. So it was time to head to the main attraction, the beach and the South China sea, to see it at sunrise. It was very beautiful particularly as there is a island very close to the main land (that can be a accessed by a massive cable car - unfortunately we didn't go) giving a lovely sihouette view
To be honest, we didn't do much apart from eat (the start of operation turkey - for Neill to regain weight now tooth extraction and delhi belly were fully behind him), drink, sunbathe and swim.
One such eating opportunity was when we visited a lovely Vietnamese restaurant with the group. Sophie had Vietnamese 'basa' (carp) with a butter and lemon sauce and Neill had a chicken coconut dish served in a coconut - both were truly delicious. Another was a place called 'Why Not', where we couldn't resist their offer of a free beer/wine with every main course, and actually thought to ourselves why not.
There was a popular but expensive bar, which was decorated in such a cool way and located on the beach that we had to go and try a cocktail. Sophie can now safely say that a mango margarita is the best flavoured margarita ever. We also visited a resort on the beach, that with the price of a sun lounger provided a free pool. This resort also happened to brew its own beer, so it would have rude if Neill hadn't tried - Neill straight away could tell that this was a good quality beer rather than the cheap ones we had been going for.
On the second evening in Nha Trang we caught a 10pm overnight train to Danang, so even though the time here was short it was spent doing what we wanted - chillaxing!
