a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances without apparent causal connection - oxford dictionary

The biggest coincidence of my life was when I went to Calani springs with Callum a few years back. I noticed a kid and his father on the dodgems, I particularly remember the little boy because he was a right nutter when he was at the wheel! Later that day I was working at the manor, when amazingly the same family were dining in the restaurant. I was shocked, and told them that I had seen them earlier that day at the theme park (which was a good 2 hour drive away)
Later on that summer, I went on a skate trip with the local council, it was a great trip and it will be in memory for a life time. The first skate park that we went to was a new one with the latest form of concrete or something, which basically meant that it was really fucking quick because it was so smooth. As I was skating to the nearest BP garage, I a guy caught my eye, it was amazing - the same guy that I had met a couple of months back. I stopped and chatted to him, and (luckily) he recognised me too! We chatted for a little bit and parted our ways. Strangely that boy that i had seen on the dodgems was also skating the park, but I didn’t recognise him from earlier.

Anyways, that happened a long time ago, and it was quite amazing. Although I’m over it now.

I arrived in Sydney a couple of days ago, my intention was to get farm work straight away and collect my ANZ bank card from my visa service. I went to the building straight away, because I needed money FAST. I got the card fine, and went to use the computer facilities for free. As I went to a computer some guy stopped in such a strange manner, but I didn’t think anything of it for a second. Then I turned around.
“Gee!” I said!
“6000 miles away and we meet up here” replied Gee
“Mate, this is mental”
Gee is a mate of a mate sort of. He lives in Georgeham, and is good friends with Max Hartnol. I’ve known him for a number a of years, but hadn’t arranged to meet up or anything. I wasn’t even aware that he was in the country.

Later on that day, as I was talking to all the long-term residents at my hostel, that I had met before from the last time I’d stayed there; I heard a voice.
“Rob Murray!” someone shouted
I turned around expecting it was someone I had met before and there sitting in the chair was Ross Williams - someone in my old tutor in college. As I looked around to see who he was accompanied with was Lianne Mason, her boyfriend Nick, Matt Beverage, Beth Green and some guy I still don’t know the name of - but from Barnstaple.
This was completely unplanned, in fact i was under the impression that Lianne wasn’t going to be in Australia till the 3rd anyway.

The next day, (but this was planned) Corrine and Sarah Francis joined us in Sydney too. So at the moment, there are loads of people that I know from the Braunton region.

Not sure what is the bigger coincidence - this or the first story.

I do have a logical explanation for why we have all met up like this, and why out of all the hostels in Sydney we all ‘randomly’ met up at once.

STA travel recommend this hostel. I met Nikki Larrington here when i first got to Australia, and she must have been with STA. Gee is with STA, and I predict that Lianne and all that also went with STA. So, still a big coincidence, but I know why!
