After staying another night at Iguazu falls I thought I try to get to Buenos Aires in two days but it was going to be tight especially when I lost three hours on the first day with torrential rain, I couldn`t see anything and had to pull over till it died down, end up spending the night in a small place called Alvear still about 800kms from Buenos Aires. Got to Buenos Aires outskirts about 7.00pm but I didn't check into hotel till 10.00pm, got off the freeway a couple exits to early and end up going back the other way, then I ended up at the airport but it was easy from there, after paying about 10 peso in toll fees because I ended up on all of them I finally got to downtown. What a great city, beautiful old buildings, well planned streets and lots of plazas and parks, walked around for about 4 hours and only saw about 1/5 of the city, its bloody huge, not in skyscrapers but just sprawling outwards in every direction. Took a boat tour upto Tigre where there are islands on the river delta where there are no cars just boats for transport around the islands. Got a new rear tyre for the bike because this is probably the last chance to get one before I head down south, tonight I might head to Hooters bar, just for the beer thou. Got to Buenos Aires on time but staying one extra day for the tyre to arrive, halfway thru trip in time and done 10500 kms so far.

Where have you been
I was wondering where the hell you were, just spent nearly an hour looking at your photos (I'm jealous) mate you look like you are wasting away to nothing, i'll have to do a 52 week trip. sounds like you are having some interesting experiences there and I'm sure you will have another hundred yarns when you return. Stay save and we'll try and fat you up when we get to Adelaide.

Bright Lights
Good to see you back in civilisation. The locals seem very helpful, and the going seems tough. From your comments, the road has sorted out the bike a few times.
Great photos - those Igauza falls wow. Jenny Craig is using you for adverts back here. Biggest Loser planning a motorcycle trip instead of lazin' around some house.
Keep up the entertainment, and thanks for all those trees - I was thinking Global Warming was right. Any good steaks (or golf) in Argie ?

Trip of a lifetime
You are having too much fun.
Too many things to see. Photos look great.
I still reckon you're a fat bastard, don't agree with Helen or Manny. You'll always be known as a fat bastard to me.
Enjoy the 2nd half, travel safe and we'll put some fosters in the cupboard ready for your return. You are coming home aren't you?
