Headed off to Paso Jama which is Argentina's border crossing 160 kms from San Pedro de Atacama, when I got there I didn't have the right fucking paper work so I had to ride 160kms back to San Pedro and redo paperwork, fuel up again then head back to Argentina what a waste of a day, finally got thru the border and stayed the night at Susques. Off to
Salta today and what an interesting ride, started off in the Altiplano on top of the Andes, across a salt lake, into the landscape which looked like it was straight out of a wild west movie and then into a sub-tropical rainforest near
Salta. Salta is a very nice city and I whish I could of spent some more time here, first taste of Argentinian beer, pretty good.
