North to Detroit and a special party

When we got back on the road, we went pretty much straight north from Florida, on up to Detroit, MI. After getting settled in a RV Park north of the city, we headed into town. We had a little time to spare before meeting with our friends, so we went across the river to Windsor, Ontario, Canada for a quick sightseeing drive around mostly the waterfront area, looking across to Detroit.  

Our good friends from Maui, Al and Lori, had planned to renew their vows and celebrate 25 years of marriage.
The extra special part, was that they did everything just like it was the first time... the same church, the same priest (Al's brother, Father Stan), the same wedding dress, the same attendants, and a lot more. 

Unfortunately for me, their party took place at the same time as my grandkids' graduations in SoCal.  My son had sent me a ticket to fly out for a couple of weeks.  So Terry stayed in a couple of parks just north of Detroit and he went to the party and hung out with Al and Lori, etc.
