I reached Chiang Mai at 4am on the first day of Loy Krathong (the lantern festival), and the town was still celebrating from the previous evening.
All this lantern around the whole city...it was magical!!

Wat Chedi Luang

Stu came to the bus station to meet me and, once again, I was very happy to see him!
After a few hours sleep I went out to look for a place to move into and I found a nice and cosy room at Golden House, right in the center of town :)

And here my Chiang Mai life is about to begin....
