The trip to Dili was a very long one! Eight hours on a small bus to Atambua and then another 30 minutes on a bike to the border. Hardly any bus venture down that road, which is more like a secondary road full of holes!
The border is nearly deserted and once on the other side you'll only meet pigs and chickens.
We already knew that there were no buses to Dili, in the afternoon, so we stopped the first truck we met on the road. The driver gave us a lift, letting us stay on the back with some local kids :)
My trip to Dili was quite a nightmare! Endless journeys, everything is more expensive, I'm still not recovered from my illness, I had the wrong photo for my visa so we got stuck in Dili for a week, we got lost after sunset, I had another sex fiend following me at the beach and Kas drowned my camera!! So no more photos :(
But the positive thing is that soon, very soon, I'll be travelling again with Jonny ^^ that crazy guy cancelled his flight to Fiji to book a new one to Kupang, where we'll meet next week, the day before his birthday!
I can't wait to see him again and spend seven weeks together!!
I couldn't believe it when he told me about his plans to visit me in Indonesia..I'm so excited! ^^
