Matsumoto is a nice city and Liza, our CS host was very nice :)
We were her first couchsurfers!!

Yesterday we went for an adventure at more that 2'000m in the alps. It was snowing and of course freezing!
We got up very early in the morning and jumped on a bus in Matsumoto station. The bus driver left us in the middle of nowhere, we were a bit worried but then we found a little shop, the only thing there!
There we got the keys for a magical ofuro :D
In what seemed a little wooden shelter there is a secret passage ;) to a wonderful onsen in a cave...
We spend half an hour soaking in there till we got all red and nearly fainted for the heat, even if outside was snowing and all around us were icicles!!
That place was absolutely amazing...and your skin after the onsen...uau!!
When we got back to the shop, we spent another two hours drinking ocha and eating biscuits with the owner trying to have a conversation...he could only speak japanese, but it was good fun!

Once back in Matsumoto we went to Nawate street or frog street, a very cute little alley next to the river dedicated to frogs, they also had a small temple with kero kero!
I must check on the web what was all about...

I had my first tayaki with anko!!! Like the one in manga and anime!
