So, I'm in New York, I have an addrenalin rush to the maaaaaxxxxx!!!! Although the driving here is insanely scary! I'm in Times Square and I just can't believe it!
The flight was just a flight, I was asleep for the majority of it! I love America though. Although I do not love the tipping sitch! I feel really rude when I don't cause I can tell, they kind of expect it but I have no idea how to do it or how much to give! I'm sure I'll get used to it!
At the moment I'm near Port Authority bus station where my suitcase is and where im catching a bus to Pittsfield.
New York is just how I imagined - yellow cabs, big American School busses, inner city kids playing Basket ball (which I wanted to take a picture of but I felt weird!)
Also Starbucks - the caramel frap really isn't as good as English ones - I'm not even just saying that, it's true!!!!! They also write your name on the cup!!!!! How awsome right??? I thought the guy behind the counter fancied me and was going to use an American chat up line like "soooo whats your name?" and then "and number please?" ...... but he didn't! It's the norm here in the Big Apple! (I cant stop saying that!!) I even used the name Francesca to sound sophisticated.
I do apologise if this is just a bit of blabber but i'm so pumped I can't really think straight.
Shout out to Ros as I know she'll check this!!
