On 19th August I shall be flying out to New York. From there I shall meet with 19 other intrepid travellers plus one lovely trek leader who will guide us through 33 states. In short I'm doing a 64 day camping trip around North America, which should be interesting as I’ve never camped before and I hate bugs. I shall let the website speak for itself but it is worth mentioning that since booking this trip I have received nothing less than excellent customer service from the staff in the Trek America office (based in the UK). In particular Andy and Matt in the beginning who didn’t push me into anything but were friendly and reassuring. Then when it came to payment and booking insurance and flights it was the very kind and more importantly patient Danielle who answered every question I had – there were a lot!
So all I have left to do now is pack, change up some cash…and try not to panic!!
