Loaded with enough medicine to kill a horse, we finally embarked on our adventure together. It didn't take long for our first hiccup: I left my fleece (and only warm jacket) at LAX, where it will probably remain for another 4 months until I can reclaim it when we return home for the holidays. Good thing China is on the ticket--I'm sure I can pick up a good substitute jacket at a good price! Cheryl and I were offered a honeymoon cake with champagne and snoopy dogs enroute to Tokyo from the Singapore airlines crew. I guess Singapore Airlines, with whom we had booked our Star Alliance ticket package, figured that such a protracted and involved itinerary could only be for a honeymoon, so we played along and posed for pictures in the main cabin!
