Craig says: i nearly cried today some say, i  disagree i maybe nearly did,,,,  i just had a really happy moment no matter what anyone else says. i found stuff that ive been looking for a long time which made me ready to pass away. lol,  i also got my first double cheeseburger in scotland from McDonalds which was good and tried the haggus which was not so good... good day

Lachlan says: Today was a fairly good day. I woke up when craig came into my room telling me to get out of my bed. I had a hot shower and went to eat with the rest of the group. Today we got to go shopping, i bought alot of stuff at this cheap store.  :D like everyone else. then i went with lisa and erik to see their parents at their loft. I did not get the oppurtunity to eat at Mc Donalds  :(   today was also the opening ceremony which was cool. I also ate haggus it was not the greatest. Also today a young chap wearing a pink shirt, shorts and socks with sandals... lol it was amusing.

Adam says: Today was good. Everyone went out and went shopping, I my self bought 2 pairs of fluorecently colored underwear which will surley brighten my mothers day when i see her and all of the other guys are wearing a pair as well. Me craig, Lucas al bought band shirts, Craig broke down when he found such a treasure. YAY!

Erik says: my turn to do the blog later.

Yes, today was a good day.  Mark Unterschultz was elected to be our flag bearer and did a magnificent job.  The opening ceremony was good, with 22 countries being represented at the festival.  This morning most of the group went downtown shopping and had a great time as you can tell by Craig's part of the blog. As for this evening, all the kids are attending at ceilidh, pronounced Kay-lee.  At which they are being taught some Scottish dancing,  Over at 11 and into bed for a performance at the Beach Ballroom tomorrow.  They were possibly to have a day off, however, they have been asked to dance because a number of African groups were not able to be here.  Talk to you tomorrow.

It looks like everyone is having a blast. I am so proud of all of you, keep up the good work and keep those smiles coming. Good luck with all those dances you have to do.

Thanks for the thinking of me with the shoe picture! Checking out the daily blog is truly a highlight of our day. Keep the stories and photos coming. Yes, Adam...I can hardly wait to see the fluorescent underwear! (Just don't wear them under those white Trans pants!) All the best with your first show tomorrow! Remember to do the "good-luck" move that I taught all of you before the year-end show in Edmonton! So proud of all of you. You rock, Cheremshyna!

Greetings from Ketchikan, Alaska, to Courtney and her travelmates. Miss you CJ very much, and stay safe. Enjoy the beautiful country and I see in some photos, you are donning tartan stockings. It reminds me, of when I was your age, and loved the band "the Bay City Rollers", they were from Scotland.
Have fun everyone*****************************
