Really nice island, quieter than all the others in Thailand. Stayed in a bit of a shocker of a room, stank of damp and ants everywhere! but it was run by a couple of cool scottish guys. Stayed here a couple of nights before giving in and moving to a much nicer place on the beach for an extra couple of quid!
We hired a bit of a special tuk tuk for the day, cheese driving with Steve, Robyn and me in a cart on the side of it. The novelty of it wore off after a while when we ended up having to get out of it to push it up the hills!
The day after we hired scooters.
Went on a 4 island trip on a longtail boat for a wee bit of snorkelling, seeing some tropical fish and seemingly a wee shark!
The best bit was when we had to swim 80metres through a pitch black cave with the waves crashing in, wondering if we will survive! then emerging in the Emerald Cave, a hidden paradise, white sandy beach surrounded by high cliffs, only accessible through the caves. Really cool!
Jimmy took us to a few good Thai places to eat where the menu was a Whinnie the Pooh photo album with pictures of the food!
