We woke up on Saturday and headed out to meet Canice in Chinatown.  There was a flea market at the Bart train stop parking lot in Berkeley - but nothing there to buy.  After a short Bart ride we were on the edge of Chinatown.

We love Chinatown.  Tons of little bakeries and restaurants and shops where you can get all sorts of food.  We found a little food court where we bought 4 big fried dumplings for $2.99.  As we ate we listened to someone sing "I will always love you" in spanish on the radio.  By the way, you can get a samurai sword at just about any corner shop in Chinatown.  After a little while walking around we met up with Canice and ate lunch at the famous restaurant House of Nanking.

Then, it rained.  I mean - it rained all day.  We tried to go to the museum of modern art but I think it was free admission day cause there were lines around the entire building.  We actually ended up going to a movie.

Not much of a day - we had plans for brunch with our friends Tracy and Paul in SF the next morning.
