Since we arrived in Athens on Thursday we have been doing a whole lot of nothing and we love it. Seriously...once we got into Angela's aunt's apartment it took us over 27 hrs. to step outside again. We just ate, slept and chillaxed. We stayed on a 7x8 veranda. I took some time to pop open the laptop to learn some programs I will be teaching this year, plan out the year as well as my frequent Facebook scouring and updating.
Tonight we will go out and it's going to be a good good night. It will consist of Angela's cousins, my cousins and several bottles of Ouzo in the Plaka area of Athens. As the Black Eyed Peas sing " I have a feeling...that tonight's gonna be a good night....a good good night"
- It actually wound up being a very good night under the Acropolis. We ate and drank at a family friend's tavern. It was good to see my cousins again and just walk around these ancient paths.
Tomorrow...Beach I hope.
