Rajasthans (only) Hill Station
We chugged our way up the winding mountain roads to Mt. Abu arriving as the sun played hide and seek. This picturesque Hillstation (1100m above sea level) in southern Rajasthan fills the lungs with fresh oxygen in abundant quantities, you almost feel high. The last few days rides have been short (and sweet) , had we longer in India we would not feel a need to reach horizons as we have done over the past weeks, riding till dusk. The charm in Mt abu lies the hilltop lake, hugged by the bulging hills, and palm trees. Enda keeps mistakingly refering to it as an island, and I you can see how it gives that vibe. Its hard to get to, hard to leave, its chilled, its fresh (alot cooler), plams trees and boats on the water ... its nice here, thats a!!  Riding from Diu the temperature on the roads were up at 44 degrees, i'm sure a 'rasher' would cook on the tarmac (thats if you could find one!) Its set to hit 50 degrees in the coming days and weeks.
