Back on the tourist trail. I had been told by my friend Laura, who has recently returned from her epic honeymoon, that Colonia was pretty, but touristy and there wasn't a great deal to do. She was spot on. Happily we had chosen to spend our three nights at Casa de Teresa, a family run B&B. After we had exhausted Colonia's few sights and enjoyed watching the local kids put Piet's five aside team to shame with their football skills over a beer (that is us drinking the beer not the kids), Casa de Teresa was a great place to just relax and swat up on Buenos Aires facts ready for the next leg, our trip to Argentina, oh and joy of joys do some washing, properly, in a machine!!

One further quick Colonia anecdote was the fact that in the office where we purchased our tickets for the ferry to Buenos Aires the soundtrack of choice was Celine Dion's 'My
Heart Will Go On'. The Titanic soundtrack as you book a voyage. Reminiscent of the travel agent in 'The Truman Show' perhaps. I am pleased to report, however, that a quick, pleasant voyage was had and I write this from vibrant Buenos Aires!
