Spent yesterday in Queens, having a rest from the tourism and watching Newcastle hammer Tottenham 3-1, really good game actually - some proper entertainment!! Very relaxing day.
Today we decided to get back into it, and later than we thought (Due to daylight savings) we headed to Lombardi's. The first ever registered Pizzeria in New York, and most people still say the best! We got ourselves a large pizza and sat outside in the park muching away! Lush! Then got our last souvenir from Chinatown and headed up to Union Square on foot! Which is really nice, they have these enclosures on the park just for dogs, so you can take them in there and just let them off their leash and not worry about it! Such a good idea!
We walked past a place and happened to notice a sign saying a young designers thing was going on inside so we popped in to have a look, and it was really cool! Some really nice stuff, and really interesting clothes, we ended up leaving with some rather funny t-shirts!
After watching some street performers doing a Micheal Jackson dance show, we walked up past the Empire State and headed on back!
