After speaking to our parents this morning on the phone, we hopped on the subway and headed for Little Italy! Stomachs already rumbling, once we found the area we went straight into a restaurant for some fantastic Italian food for lunch! Which was absolutely gorgeous! We stuffed ourselves with some classics - Lasagna, Margharita Pizza, Tiramisu and Cheesecake! I could have spent all day trying each restaurant!! Wonderful!
We walked the streets, and browsed the shops that lined them and then wandered into China Town that seems to be swallowing Little Italy up! Once, there we spent some hard earned cash on New York souvenirs!! Love the tack! Really good day actually, and after our usual ginormous smoothie, we headed on back!
