Well, on Wednesday we head off to Tokyo, leaving Beijing and China behind!
We won't be as sad to leave this country behind us, having had a different, harder impression of this City, than any other place we've been. We've got to know the City pretty well, which has been great, and were also given the opportunity (by our hostel) to do some real living here, with a kitchen, dvd room and staying in the same place for 4 whole weeks! Chinese people will certainly be remembered, some for the right reasons, but more often not, mainly for their undesirable human qualities with not much else to redeem that.
Saying that, we have actually come to like certain native people here, and they have made our time here more enjoyable! We've also come away with a huge amount of fantastic memories, from climbing up to the Great Wall, to simple nights out, or stumbling across a market with a world of treats!
We're both really looking forward to japan now!! And we'll be sure to get on here as soon as we arrive!!
