I wanted to get a bus right out of here after the crappy hostel room experience but there are no places left for today, so I join Lysanne who cleverly changed rooms to a private and book the same bus as her too for the same day.
We both wonder around Potosi's small but sweet square, sunny day and blue skies. It feels warm in the sun, but in the shade and afternoon, evening it gets quite cold here. I eat a hugh three course meal whilst surfing on the only place with wifi, that also works!
I ate traditional dishes of quinoa soup, llama steak (ah poor animal), chips to die for and homemade delicious banana cake
I then walked around the town a little more somehow found myself chatting in poor Spanish to a local lady who offers me to find me a Bolivian man! I tell her thank you very much kindly but I am ok for the moment with men. I meet back with Lysanne just by bumping into her into the streets, we check out another square and the pedestranised walkway and wonder back to our hostel. The main plaza's park had free open wifi, so there were a lot of young people with laptops and phones making good use of it.
A nice day of doing not very much, sometimes that is needed when you are travelling.
